This course is based on the book 'Probabilistic Robotics', from Sebastian Thrun, Wolfram Burgard and Dieter Fox. By doing so, it accommodates the uncertainty that arises in most contemporary robotics applications. It relies on statistical techniques for representing information and making decisions.
